Well, it seems my attempt at humor (which was originally intended to be for family and friends ONLY- thanks alot seester!) has caused quite a stir. And although most of the comments I received were positive (and some downright flattering- Stephen Colbert?!?!?! My hero?!?!?!? Wow.) I was getting a little weirded out by the negative ones, so I've made the decision to delete this blog. I admit my sense of humor is not for everyone, especially those that don't know me personally. My apologies to those that were offended. Now you can focus your time elsewhere.... like on flaming other bloggers.

90% of all people on the Internet do not understand satire. The other half struggle with humour in general. I may have pulled those stats out of my bum, but I stand by the my research. I would encourage you to continue, if only as a sociological experiment. Trolls will be trolls. That you have fans should outwheigh any negativity outright.
Yeah- I know. It's just that being pregnant makes me super sensitive and I don't feel like dealing with all that negativity right now... people judging me and making assumptions about me. Maybe after my hormones have aligned themselves again I'll restart, but for now I have to just let it be. Thanks for the kind words, though. :)

ohhh..once i practically got RAN OFF a bulletin board for my 'sense of humor' which only made it funnier (to me, to to them!)..when folks get so upset its about THEM, their own perceptions, their own psychological problems, almost any strong reaction is that way...so don't let the hurt stay w/ you...I laughed me butt off at yer stuff!! I loved it when I saw that someone seemed to think Karl Rove was the father of your children...then I though...hay, maybe SHE's was joking too!!!
I'm so sorry this blog is gone! I really thought it was funny. I totally understand you not posting anymore though. People didn't seem to get it, and were offended even though I think you were on their side! Good luck, and thanks for sharing.
I enjoy your blog. Please don't let a handful of humorless trolls get you down. Any blog that is the least bit controversial brings them out. It goes with the territory. Don't take it personally - just hit the delete button and move on. And remember, for every dimbulb that posts a hurtful comment there are a hundred fans who love you.
Don't go....I've been lurking for a while, I figured if I didn't have anything bad to say, then I shouldn't say anything at all.....wait a minute, is that how the saying goes?????;) Oh, well, I liked reading your stuff! People need to wake up and realize that the way we eat is Killing us and our kids!!!!

yeah the preg hormones make it worse, hey, wait till you go on a new mom's message board and talk about how much you love breastfeeding, or on the otherhand, talk about how you adore bottlefeeding, and don't forget to mention your decision to circumsise your boy child. there's no pleasing everyone have a lovely pregnancy and birth!
